Meet Priya Ravindra, Founder and CEO of Punar. By launching Punar she is aiming to bring this vision to fruition.
Punar artisans are predominantly women weavers in India who use recycled yarn that comes from landfill textile waste to weave premium quality handloom fabrics and ethically handcraft meaningful gifts.
Priya has made it her mission to create a positive change in the world of corporate and business gifting. Her dedication to ethics, sustainability, and empowering women artisans in India is both inspiring and impactful. Under her leadership, Punar has emerged as a beacon of hope for these artisans and their communities.
Priya is an accredited company director, GAICD and has over 20 years of experience of delivering technology and business transformation projects within public and private sectors. Priya has been leading and advocating gender diversity and equal opportunity initiatives for women since 2002. She has also served on two boards for over 5 years in the past. As a lifelong learner, she is a recipient of University Chancellor’s Awards and various scholarships.
