Our name Punar, meaning "again" in Sanskrit, reflects our mission of rebirth—of materials, opportunities, and lives. We are giving choices to customers again to buy better.

Punar is a purpose driven multi-award-winning start up, one of the world’s first to weave sustainability and gender equality while positively disrupting the gifting and textile industries. Every piece crafted by our women is a symbol of hope, resilience and environmental stewardship.

Our handloom collections are created in smaller batches working with women owned weaving units or women's co-operating weaving units. Real artisans and real behind the scenes stories unveil textile artistry that is sourced around the world.

For large orders, we work with certified manufacturing units in India and South East Asia. Our founder has travelled thousands of kilometers to meet real makers, explore production units and built trusted relationships to consistently create exceptional, award winning collections.
